| Kolkata Patent Office issued an Indian Patent No. 225209 to Eli Lilly and Co. for crystalline non-solvated anhydrous Arzoxifene. Arzoxifene is a new molecule under clinical development in the family of selective oestrogen receptor modules (SERMs). "Dragon Boat Action", the largest campaign of its kind conducted by the China Customs in recent years for enforcing Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) protection, and has been able to crack down 1,301 infringement cases from imports and exports since 1 st October 2007,The customs also caught 170 million pieces of infringement goods, 80 percent more according to State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO) press release.
